Asolo Rep And The FSU/Asolo Conservatory To Unveil 2018-19 Season on 3/19

Asolo Repertory Theatre and the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training will unveil their 2018-19 seasons on Monday, March 19 at 4pm at the annual Season Announcement Event. Michael Donald Edwards, Asolo Rep Producing Artistic Director, will announce Asolo Rep's 2018-19 season, which marks the theatre's 60th anniversary, and Greg Leaming, Director of the FSU/Asolo Conservatory and Associate Artistic Director of Asolo Rep, will announce the Conservatory's season.

The Season Announcement Event, held in the Mertz Theatre, is free and open to the public, however tickets are required. Asolo Rep subscribers and donors at the Angels level or higher will receive preferred seating.

Light refreshments will be served in the lobby following the presentation. Monday, March 19. Lobby will open at 3pm. Presentation will begin promptly at 4pm. Mertz Theatre. FSU Center for the Performing Arts. 5555 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34243

The Season Announcement Event is free and open to the public, however tickets are required. Tickets are available by calling Asolo Rep's Box Office at 941.351.8000 or 800.361.8388, by visiting www.asolorep.org or by going to the box office, located in the lobby of the theatre. Patrons should announce to the box office if they are an Asolo Rep subscriber or a donor at the Angels level or higher when making their reservations to receive preferred seating.

The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training is a celebrated three-year graduate program culminating in a master of fine arts degree. For more than 40 years, tens of thousands of actors from across the continent have auditioned for admission. A maximum of 12 students are admitted each year. In their second year, the students perform in the Cook Theatre, a 161-seat space designed to create an intimate experience for the audience and actors. Third-year students are seen on the Mertz Stage working with the Asolo Rep's professional actors in exciting and significant roles.
