Lesli Margherita Returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with RULE

Olivier Award winner, Broadway star, and Bay Area native Lesli Margherita (Matilda, Dames at Sea, Zorro) returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with Rule-a new take on her signature cabaret show on Friday, November 22 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, November 23 (8 p.m.).

With her take-no-prisoners attitude and self-deprecating humor, Margherita "inspires," "uplifts," and "slaps you across the face"-and let's be honest, everyone needs a good slap across the face every once in a while. From memorable favorites with a twist to new stories bound to become classics, Margherita's 70-minute showstopping set will leave you screaming "Yaaas!"

Rule is written by Lesli Margherita, directed and produced by Lauren Bass, and features musical direction and arrangements by Brett Ryback.

Tickets for Lesli Margherita range in price from $45-$70 and are available now by calling 866-663-1063 or visiting www.feinsteinssf.com. Ticket prices are subject to change without notice.

Lesli Margherita won the Olivier Award for her West End debut as 'Inez' in Zorro The Musical. She made her Broadway debut originating the role of 'Mrs. Wormwood' in Matilda The Musical and, after over 1,000 performances, bid farewell to the Matilda company and crossed the street to The Helen Hayes to star as the diva 'Mona Kent' in the Broadway premiere of Randy Skinner's Dames At Sea. Lesli later returned to her iconic performance in Matilda to close out its Broadway run.

Off-Broadway credits include her hilarious, show-stopping performance as 'Cindy Lou Who' in the one-woman tour-de-force Who's Holiday, which earned her critical acclaim as well as a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Solo Performance, a Lortel nomination for Outstanding Solo Show, and an Off-Broadway Alliance nomination for Best Solo Performance. Other Off-Broadway credits include an award-winning turn as 'Signora Psyche Zinobia' in A Scythe of Time (NYMF; Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role) and 'Princess' in Emojiland.

On television, Lesli recently starred in the final season of Amazon's cult hit "Transparent," and opposite Yvette Nicole Brown in the ABC sitcom "Most Likely To." She recurs on such dramas as "Homeland" (Showtime), "Instinct" (CBS), "Elementary" (CBS), and "Seven Seconds" (Netflix). This spring Lesli filmed a supporting role in the highly anticipated Warner Bros. "Sopranos" prequel feature, and last fall she starred opposite Topher Grace, Taye Diggs, and JC Chasez in the Netflix musical feature, "Opening Night."

Regional stage credits include 'Phyllis' in Flamingo Kid (Hartford Stage); 'Adelaide' in Guys & Dolls (Bucks County Playhouse); 'Esmeralda' in The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (Sacramento Music Circus); 'Lilli / Kate' in Kiss Me Kate (Reprise; Ovation Award-Best Actress); The Gronholm Method (The Falcon; Ovation nomination-Best Ensemble); 'Aldonza' in Man Of La Mancha (MTW; Ovation nomination & Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle nomination-Best Actress); 'Julie' in Showboat (Goodspeed Opera); 'Audrey' in Little Shop Of Horrors (La Mirada), and 'Lady of the Lake' in Spamalot (Sacramento Music Circus).
