One of America's foremost comediennes and actresses ~ Lily Tomlin ~ opens San Diego Theatres' presentations for this season at the historic and nationally acclaimed Balboa Theatre. By popular demand, a second show has been added ~ An Evening of Classic Lily Tomlin will now play both WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27 and THURSDAY, JANUARY 28 at 7:30PM.

Get together with Lily Tomlin for an unforgettable night of fun and sidesplitting laughter. "Tomlin is amazing"[1] and "as always a revelation."[2] This unique comic artist takes her audience on a "wise and howlingly funny"[3] trip with more than a dozen of her timeless characters---from Ernestine to Sister Boogie Woman; Mrs. Beasley to Edith Ann. "With astounding skill and energy, Tomlin zaps through the channels like a human remote control.

Using a fantastic range of voices, gestures and movements, she conjures up the cast of characters with all the apparent ease of a magician pulling a whole menagerie of animals from a single hat."[4] "Her gentle touch is as comforting as it is edifying."[5] She has "made the one-person show the daring, irreverent art form it is today." [6] "Lily Tomlin just may be the eighth wonder of the world."[7] Don't miss this warm and uniquely affecting experience filled with comical insights and wildly, witty observations about the human condition.
