North Coast Rep Presents TUESDAY NIGHT COMICS

The local favorite Variety Night Show, Tuesday Night Comics, returns to North Coast Repertory Theatre on May 8th, 2018 at 7:30PM.

Tuesday Night Comics is arguably one of the funniest nights of comedy in San Diego. Mark Christopher Lawrence, award winning Actor of the Year, hosts the North Coast Rep stage with his extensive list of talented comedian friends from all over the country with late night credits as well as credits from Comedy Central, HBO, SHOWTIME etc.

Our musical guests, John Brooks and the San Diego Jazz Quintet, are based in beautiful San Diego and play an assortment of jazz standards from around the word, throwing down jazz beats, Latin jazz rhythms, and classic jazz tunes. Brian Aprille, our Opening Act, has amused audiences far and wide since the late '90's, stirring up laughter at casinos, clubs, colleges, and conventions. After developing facial paralysis from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, Aprille returned to the stage to raise awareness for the disease, helping those who suffer from it find hope and happiness. Critics call him "brilliantly entertaining" and "coast-to-coast funny!" Etta Mae Mumphries, our Featured Act, possesses the "altar" ego of veteran actress Karen Bankhead and charms audiences with her hysterical recollections and witty words of wisdom. Her credits include "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "I Am Sam", "Gilmore Girls", "Will & Grace", and "The Jamie Foxx Show. Our headliner, Danny Villalpando, is a guy who loves life but has a way of finding fault with it! He's like a sarcastic motivational speaker and has performed at corporate events, charity organizations, and on cruise ships. He's been seen on NBC's "Friday Night" and CBS's "Funny is Funny". This show is rated R.
