Interested in joining BroadwayWorld's worldwide network of published authors?

BroadwayWorld.com has an IMMEDIATE need for a contributing writer to head up feature coverage right here in San Diego! We are seeking talented theater enthusiasts--yes, you!--that are passionate about the performing arts and its place in your local community.

All applicants must have excellent writing skills, be internet-savvy, and have an enthusiasm for giving local theaters and productions some prominence on BroadwayWorld.com -- the largest theater site on the net!

As our local correspondent for San Diego, you will have the opportunity to review the shows of your choice, conduct interviews with local and touring talent, design feature articles of your own choosing for publishing, and work/network with your local theater press reps to bring exposure to the theatrical offerings in your area.

Though our regional/local contributors are not paid, your compensation as a featured writer representing BroadwayWorld not only includes access to exclusive press seats to the local shows you cover (as is standard in your area and arranged between you and the theater) but also the opportunity to be a published author representing a nationally-acclaimed web site under your own byline and profile on both the local and main pages of the site for maximum exposure to our 3 Million+ monthly visitors!

The position offers flexible hours and the convenience of working remotely from your hometown. (**Access to New York City is NOT necessary**). There are no administrative duties associated with the contributorship. You simply see the shows, meet the talent, and contribute at least 1-2 articles a week of your own design and terms! (Note that some theaters require a specific publishing turnaround which you will negotiate on a case-by-case basis).

If this sounds like you, what are you waiting for? Send a résumé and at least one writing sample to our West Coast Regional Editor, Michael Lawrence Quintos at michael@broadwayworld.com and you can be a writer for BroadwayWorld's San Diego site!

Because this position needs to be filled immediately, the deadline for submissions for this position ends April 23. All applicants must reside in San Diego.
