Utah WorldStage! Concert Series Continues With ZION TRIBE 7/13
Rockin' Afro-Caribbean Grooves & Other Funky Stuff with Zion Tribe! The Utah Cultural Celebration Center's WorldStage! Concert Series continues with local favorites Zion Tribe on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.
At the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 West 3100 South.
EVERYONE is invited to this FREE concert! While it may be unusual for a band to stay together for more than a year or two, Zion Tribe's uniqueness is not limited to longevity; they can lay claim as one of Salt Lake City's only "world beat" bands. A hybrid of musical influences from around the globe comprises the World Beat genre. Zion Tribe passionately plays reggae, Latin, Afro-Caribbean, rock, funk and rhythm & blues in a way that always pulls the audience into their groove. Original dance tunes from their numerous albums keep them on the floor and ready for more. A live performance by the Tribe is always dynamic, energetic, and tight, with plenty of drums, rhythms, singing and dancing!
