A play by Kenneth Lonergan. Directed by Imani Mitchell
This play follows four New Yorkers involved in a murder investigation face moral and ethical dilemmas that explore issues of racism and sexism, and whether it's ever honorable to do the wrong thing for the right reason. Cops and security guards, those tasked with the protection of the everyday citizen, are presented as deeply flawed examples of humanity, as opposed to paragons of moral virtue. Lobby Hero digs into the grey areas, leaving no perspective unexamined. Sensitive and small while tackling massive issues, this play offers heart and depth to what are often polarizing conversations.
Showing Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from March 1st-30th. With paid previews starting February 28th.
