The Orchestra, led by a venerable conductor Alexander Lazarev, forced to remember the best times of the Bolshoi Theatre, where it stood for Lazarev conductor. The local part of the soloists you forced guest from Mariinka (Mariinsky Theatre), a worthy Prince Igor by Eden Umerova. Dancers had to wait longer than usual: "polovtsian dances" (choreographer Alexander Tikhomirov) was put at the very end of the play. Such was the condition of Lazareva. He decided to solve the long-standing problem: after standing at dances by Borodin in the second Act, the theatres are always empty. The relative legitimacy of rewiring, alas, is the wine of the Borodin: in the 18 years of work on the Opera, he never managed to finish his masterpiece.
