Amateur Hour Presents: Gutenberg! The Musical! - a hilarious musical spoof in which two aspiring writers pitch what they believe to be the greatest musical of all time to potential Broadway Producers. Using only a few low-budget props and a whole lot of trucker hats, Deb and Barb (played by Michelle Ciccotelli and Stephanie Occhipinti), play all the parts and sing all the songs in this mega-musical about the inventor of the printing press. Will they be able to find a big-time producer to make their Broadway dreams a reality?

This production of Gutenberg! The Musical! features an all-female cast, directed by Lydia Utter. Musical Accompaniment by Layla Wang.

A bit of history behind the show: Gutenberg! The Musical! written by Anthony King and Scott Brown, was developed and first performed at the UCB theatre in New York City. Amateur Hour produced the first all-female production of this show in Boston in August of 2017 and the team is thrilled to remount the production at the PIT NYC!
