An immersive theater experience / Presented by Greenwood Lake Theater in partnership with The Warwick Historical Society. October 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30 (Fridays and Saturdays)Start times at 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm, Lewis Park, Warwick NY80-92 Main Street, Warwick, NY. The performance will begin at Lewis Park, and will continue through several locations within the park. Tickets: Advance tickets are $30 per person/$25 ages 12-18; at the door, $30 for all. Advance purchase is recommended. Box office contact is 845-986-3236, ext. 101Detestable Arts is an original retelling of the Salem Witch Trials done in an immersive setting. The story takes place over an acre of space in beautiful Lewis Park, as well as inside the historic Old School Baptist Meeting House. The audience can get right in the middle of the accusations and trials that became one of Colonial Americas most notorious cases of mass hysteria. Everyone who attends will move freely throughout the space to experience the story in whatever order they choose. Its a chance to be a part of the story, rather than just watching from a distance. Take a break from the performance and drink in the colonial-era tavern alongside the residents of Salem Village (drink tickets available at the door).
