By:

Theatre By The Sea owner Bill Hanney, Producing Artistic Director Amiee Turner and Managing Producer Joel Kipper are proud to announce the opening of the box office for single ticket sales to the four shows scheduled for the 2009 Summer Season*. Beginning on Monday, April 27 at 10:00 am, patrons may purchase tickets to any or all of the following spectacular Theatre By The Sea Premieres:

MY WAY: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra: Rhode Island Premiere! Don't expect to see a Sinatra impersonation - this must-see musical revue, celebrates the mystique of "Ol' Blue Eyes" and the music he made famous. Presented in story form with four amazing singers in front of an onstage band, this witty, delightful revue features nearly 60 of Sinatra's greatest hits including "My Funny Valentine," "High Hopes," "Fly Me to the Moon," "I Only Have Eyes for You," and, of course, "My Way." You don't have to love Sinatra to love this show! My Way will be presented from May 27-June 14.

CRAZY FOR YOU: Set in the 1930s, this Tony Award-winning extravaganza follows Bobby Child, the son of a wealthy New York banking family, whose desire in life is to dance on Broadway. Despite protests from his mother and fiancée, Bobby flees to Deadrock, Nevada, where he meets the feisty local postmistress and falls in love. This high energy musical comedy features mistaken identity, plot twists, fabulous dance numbers, memorable Gershwin tunes including "Someone to Watch Over Me," "I Got Rhythm," "Nice Work If You Can Get It," and "Embraceable You" and the curtain falling on (of course) a finale of utter bliss! Crazy for You will be presented from June 17 - July 11.

PETER PAN: Based on the novel by J.M. Barrie, this magical musical follows Peter and Tinkerbell, Wendy, Michael and John to the small island of Neverland, where they share their adventures with the Lost Boys, Indians, Pirates, and the dreaded Captain Hook! Memorable songs include "Never, Never Land," "I Won't Grow Up," and "I'm Flying." Not just for children, this thrilling, sweet tale is for everyone willing to believe in their imagination and a little bit of magic! Peter Pan will be presented from July 15 - August 8.

DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS: Based on the popular 1988 film, this Broadway sensation focuses on two conmen - the sophisticated, Lawrence Jameson and the small-time crook, Freddy Benson - who are enjoying the high life on the glamorous French Riviera. After deciding that the town isn't big enough for them both, they make a bet: the first one to swindle $50,000 from a young female heiress wins, while the other must leave town. A hilarious battle ensues bringing out the best - and the worst - in both men. The frantic game of one-upmanship will leave audiences in hysterics. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will be presented from August 12 - September 6.
