Garrison Keillor returns to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), with his solo show "Just Passing Through," on Friday, November 17 at 8PM.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, July 20 at 10AM at the PPAC Box Office (220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence), by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787), and online at www.ppacri.org. Tickets are $55 - $35; all ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice.

From now until September 5, the Box Office is open Monday through Thursday, 10AM to 3PM and two hours prior to curtain times on performance days.

Garrison Keillor captivates with his signature blend of humor, charisma and wisdom as he shares his journey to becoming one of America's greatest storytellers.

Keillor regaled audiences for more than 40 years as the host of "A Prairie Home Companion," and he continues to bring stories to life on public radio's "The Writer's Almanac."

A best-selling author, he has published more than two dozen books of fiction and poetry and his unique works have earned him honors including Grammy, ACE and Peabody awards, as well as the National Humanities Medal and election to the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

Crowds are instantly drawn in by his soothing, hypnotic voice, whimsical vignettes, and homespun brand of humor. Sharing his passion for everything from creativity and literacy to the great journey of life, Keillor entertains with a sage yet wry perspective, inspiring with kernels of wisdom audiences carry long after he has left the stage.
