Epic Theatre Company is proud to present the first show in its Summer of Satire-3C by David Adjmi directed by Christopher Plonka.

Brad has just come back from Vietnam. He wakes up one day in Connie and Linda's apartment, and the three decide to live together. This sets off a chain of misunderstandings and mix-ups that turn all three of their lives upside down. Inspired by a wacky 70's sitcom featuring three very famous single people, Adjmi's comedy set off a legal battle when it first premiered that put satire itself on trial.

"We're very excited to be presenting the first Rhode Island production of 3C," says Kevin Broccoli, Epic Artistic Director, "It's one of the darkest comedies we've ever worked on. Last year's Summer of Sex pushed the boundaries pretty far in terms of what we put onstage here at Epic, and with this show, we're going right over that line."

Plonka directs a cast that includes Aaron Blanck, Steph Rodger, Katrina Rossi, Geoff White, Jill D. Jones, and Derek Smith.

Performance dates are July 7th, 8th, 21st, 22nd, and August 18th and 19th. All performances are at 8pm. Tickets are $20 General Admission, and $15 for Seniors. All tickets must be purchased online.

Both 3C and Dorothy, Rose, Sophia and Blanche will be presented at the Academy Players space in Providence, located at 180 Button Hole Dr. (Bldg. 2), Providence, RI 02909.

**Epic Theatre Company seeks to bring provocative contemporary work to Rhode Island as well as new perspectives on classical theater. We strive to continue the tradition of "event" theater, where each production has built-in excitement both for the audiences and the artists involved.

***Epic is a proud member of the Rhode Island Theater Alliance (RITA) and is the Resident Theater Company at the Artists Exchange in Cranston, RI.
