Daydream Theatre Company & The Arctic Playhouse to Present CO-CREATOR, Begin. 4/2
Daydream Theatre Company and The Arctic Playhouse have announced their spring 2015 show, "Co-Creator" a play written and directed by Lenny Schwartz. The play is being produced by Jim Belanger, Lloyd Felix, and David Vieria.
Production dates are April 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18 2015. All performances are at The Arctic Playhouse, 117 Washington St, West Warwick, RI. Tickets are 10 dollars general admission and can be purchased at the door or at www.smarttix.com or www.daydreamtheatre.net.
"Co-Creator" is the story of Bill Finger, the uncredited co-creator of Batman. Finger helped create one of the most popular modern myths with Batman, as well as the Joker, Robin, Gotham City and many others. He died poor and alone, never receiving the recognition he deserved. This is his story.
Playwright Lenny Schwartz says of the piece. Of all the bio plays I have written, this is the most important. It is a crime what happened to Bill Finger. My only hope is that it brings a little more attention to the greatest unsung hero comic books, and pop culture has ever had."
