A daring trick by a mysterious illusionist at the summer carnival inspires a rich girl to convince an orphan boy to break all of the town’s rules. Plans are hatched, promises are broken, and innocent mistakes produce tragic consequences. Poor Boys’ Chorus re-imagines the Greek chorus as a of trio orphans who use rhythm, light, and little bit of magic to tell a tale so tragically romantic it’ll take your breath away. Literally.

Poor Boys’ Chorus is part of the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival, which is on the forefront of refreshing the festival archetype. Transforming playwrights in to producers, BBTF is positioning itself as an artistic oasis in the absence of FringeNYC.
