Scapegoat Initiative, a new theatrical company founded by actor and activist Arin Dickson, will present the controversial satire Keely and Du, directed by Dustin Britt. The play explores the intense and evolving relationship between a kidnapped pregnant woman, Keely, and her captor, Du, who is determined to prevent her from terminating her unwanted pregnancy. With a focus on intersectionality and social activism, the production will feature contributions from local artists and aims to illuminate the human cost of eroding reproductive rights. The team includes intimacy direction and fight choreography by Katrina Tarson, with stage management by Katie Judge.
