Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts To Host Hubblo Immersive Dome
The immersive experience will have a month long residency starting in June.
Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts is set to host the Hubblo Immersive Dome from Québec in residence for the entire month of June 2026. This incredible 30-foot dome utilizes cutting-edge immersive technology, offering audiences a 360° experience that brings films to life like never before.
During its month-long residency, the Hubblo Dome will present four captivating immersive experiences with multiple showtimes daily, featuring:
Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon – The legendary album is celebrating its 50th anniversary; reimagined in a fully immersive visual journey based on the iconic album artwork.
Bébé Symphonique – A slow-moving sensory symphony designed to delight infants ages 0-18 months and their caregivers in this baby-friendly environment.
Aurorae / One Day on Mars (Double-Feature) – A mesmerizing combination of natural and cosmic wonders featuring the northern lights and a trip to Mars.
Close Encounters / Total Eclipse (Double-Feature) – A family friendly double-feature showcasing one of a kind wild encounters and chronicling the journey of a Kentucky, an insomniac chicken in search of a good night’s sleep.
“Thalian Hall is excited to partner with Québec’s government to bring the Hubblo Dome to North Carolina for the first time," said Shane Fernando, Thalian Hall CEO. “This installation will serve as a preview to the types of programming that will be available in the Hippodrome on the other side of the Thalian Hall Transformation project. We are proud to be one of the pioneers for immersive experience technology in the American South.”
Advance tickets are recommended and can be purchased at the Thalian Hall website or by calling the box office at 910.632.2285.
