BWW Previews: THE PORTUGUESE - A MUSICAL COMEDY at Casino Lisboa

Portugal is about to witness the premiere of its first musical written especially for tourists: THE PORTUGUESE - A MUSICAL COMEDY. An original musical that will be performed entirely in English and tell stories about the main events and historical characters of this country, in a light and funny way.
The direction is by Ana Brito e Cunha and Sónia Aragão and the production is by The Portuguese People (a company composed by investors and industry key players that came together to make this show happen).
A nonsense musical comedy full of mystery, adventure, romance, drama, and tragedy. Its aim is to serve as a national identity card and to show you the true essence of our people, our very Portuguese way of being.
"The Portuguese" was created with the millions of tourists that visit Portugal every year in mind, to ensure that they can consume quality cultural products while getting to know a bit more about the stories and History of this land planted by the sea.
From the 13th of January, in the Auditório dos Oceanos (Casino Lisboa).
