Feature: Portuguese Football Federation presents CONQUISTA O SONHO

It's not the first time the worlds of football and musical theatre are joined together in Portugal. However, what is impressive about this show is that it was actually created by the FPF (Portuguese Football Federation), as part of its global movement #ConquistaOSonho (or #ConquerYourDream) to motivate all Portugal's fans throughout the world for the FIFA World Cup '18.

With CONQUISTA O SONHO, FPF wants to showcase the values that this football team holds close to its heart: hard work, companionship, dedication, inclusion and perseverance - everything that is needed for you to "conquer your dream and make it happen". It wants to show you that it is okay to fall down, as long as you get up right after that, as "with hard work and ambition, you are already a champion".

And what better way to do it then with a musical? FPF got it exactly right. There are few art forms that translate effort, hard work and dedication as much as musical theatre. Therefore, for musicals to be chosen to portrait Portugal's national football team (which has a huge importance in the Portuguese culture) is truly a reason for this community to be proud. Another good bet by FPF was the cast, as it is composed by great actors already known from other musicals (by Plano 6, AM Live, Produções La Féria and others).
