The Modern Prometheans are proud to present "Frankenstein" by Paul Cosca, based on the novel by Mary Shelley. The show opens April 6th and runs through April 15th, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm. All performances are at The Funhouse Lounge (2432 SE 11th Ave Portland, OR 97214). Tickets are $10 and available at the door and at www.modernprometheans.org Victor Frankenstein is a brilliant young man whose promise knows no bounds, but his ambitions lead him into a nightmare. He discovers the key to bringing dead things back to life, and builds a monstrous, human-like creature. The creature is intelligent, sentient, and once it is rejected by Victor, hell-bent on vengeance. This classic tale of hubris and tragedy receives a cerebral and thrilling new adaptation in this production. "Frankenstein" is written and directed by Paul Cosca. Starring Tom Zalutko, Nicole Rayner, Kyle Urban, Kraig Williams, and Paul Cosca. The Modern Prometheans are a new theatrical ensemble devoted to "bringing the fire to the people". We wish to present bold new work, exciting adaptations and renditions of classics, and brand-new experiments in performing arts.
