Tin Pan Alley Theatre Closes THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS 1/30

By:

Dare You Stay for Dinner? A down and out skid row florist assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discoveres an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for blood. Soon "Audry II" grows into a giant R&B-singing carnivore who offerers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding it's growing appetite. Can anyone stop this monster who is bent on world domination?

One of the longest running off Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof on 1950's sci-fi movies is loved my millions, thanks to a successful film version and a score by the song writing team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menkin. This duo redefined animated musicals with Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast and Aladdin. Charming, Tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly planed in cheek, Little shop of Horrors never fails to entertain.

Now Portland Audiences can shout "Feed Me!" right along side the hungry hydrangeas as Tin Pan Alley joins with Madison's Grill and the producers of Who Stole My Dead Husband? to present the show in a unique dinner theater format. A delicious full theme buffet accompanies the show creating a winning combination of great food and fun filled musical theater.

Dinner Menu: Hot Artichoke spinach dip, served with artisan bread; Buffet: Mixed green salad with edible flowers, fresh fruit, baked rolls, roasted pesto chicken, vegetarian stuffed eggplant, seasonal veggies and wild rice; Dessert: Marionberry cheese cake; Drink: Full open bar with themed drinks

Calling all plant lovers, Tin Pan Alley Theatre Co. is holding a, "Strange and Unusual Plant" competition to accompany it's production of Little Shop of Horrors . For a $50 buy-in on this charity event the budding botanist can place a plant or floral arrangement on display at Madison's Grill from January 14th to February 14th. The Display will be open to the public every day during the hours of Madison's Grill for your chance to vote on the winner. The winner will be announced on Valentines day at an open media event. Fame, fortune and fabulous prizes await you!
