This weekends Red Nose Clown workshop delves into the comedy and poetry of red nose clown, a hilarious, profound, movement-based theatrical genre.

It is appropriate and useful for performers and non-performers.

When: September 23-25.
Fri 7-9:30pm; Sat/Sun 10am-4pm.

About the Instructor
Sarah Liane Foster is a physical actor, clown, mask performer, stilt walker, and teacher. She is recently back from a year of assisting Giovanni Fusetti at his movement theatre school in Florence, Italy, Scuola Internazionale di Creazione Teatrale Helikos, where she will return as an instructor in October. A graduate oF Brown University, she has trained in physical theatre and clown at the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre, at the Celebration Barn Theatre, and with Giovanni Fusetti.

As Co-Artistic Director of the Nomadic Theatre Co in Portland, Sarah has created six original, movement-based theatre shows with Nomadic. Her most recent creation is The Last Show You'll Ever See, a solo clown trombone show about the end of the world, which she has performed in Portland, California, and New York.
