Marianne Angelle - Myriah Cross
Charlotte Corday - Sarah Baker
Marie Antoinette - Jenn Rian

Synopsis:
Four beautiful, badass women lose their heads in this irreverent, girl-powered comedy set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror. Playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte Corday, former queen (and fan of ribbons) Marie Antoinette, and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle hang out, murder Marat, and try to beat back the extremist insanity in 1793 Paris. This grand and dream-tweaked comedy is about violence and legacy, art and activism, feminism and terrorism, compatriots and chosen sisters, and how we actually go about changing the world. It’s a true story. Or total fiction. Or a play about a play. Or a raucous resurrection that ends in a song and a scaffold.

Cast

Rhonny Dam

Olympe de Gouges
Rhonny Dam (Olympe de Gouges) is an author and Overshoot activist who first auditioned for community theater as a high school student some centuries ago. Her parents thought that by giving her the chance to try, and fail, she would get the theater bug out of her system. BUT, she got the part and has been going strong ever since. She considers playing Olympe the role of a lifetime and is so thrilled to be here making her R-ACT debut! She most recently appeared as Louise in Love/Sick with Youngstown Playhouse (2024). Some of her favorite past roles include the Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show (2022), Charlotte Hay in Moon Over Buffalo (2018), and Ida in Cemetery Club (2017), all with New Castle Playhouse.

Myriah Cross

Marianne Angelle
Myriah Cross (Marianne Angelle) is thrilled to make her R-ACT Theatre Productions debut in The Revolutionists. Myriah has studied acting at the CLO Academy in Pittsburgh and is also a jazz and blues singer and part-time model. Most recently, she performed in the Tony Awards Cabaret 2024 with McKeesport Little Theater. One of her favorite past roles is the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical (2012). Following The Revolutionists, she is excited to take the stage this November as Delores Van Cartier in Sister Act the Musical at Washington Community Theater.

Sarah Baker

Charlotte Corday
Sarah Baker (Charlotte Corday) is making her community theater debut with R-ACT Theatre Productions in The Revolutionists. A fourth-year student at Chatham University studying film, Sarah is passionate about both acting and writing, and loves bringing stories to life on stage. She most recently appeared in Radium Girls as Irene Rudolph and Harriet Roeder with Chatham University Drama Club (2023). Some of her favorite past roles include Amy in Continuum Tales (2022), Annabel in Robin Hood (2021), and Martha in Arsenic and Old Lace (2021). Sarah also served as writer and director for Kingdom's Demise at Chatham University Drama Club (2022).
