Joey Fatone has officially joined the cast of Pittsburgh CLO's production of The Producers, running July 6 through July 18. Fatone will play Franz Liepkind, former Nazi and the author of Springtime For Hitler.

The production also stars Broadway's John Treacy Egan as Max Bialystock, Jim Stanek as Leo Bloom, and Ashley Spencer as Ulla. The Producers runs July 6-18 at the Benedum Center as part of Pittsburgh CLO's 2010 Summer Season. Fatone makes his Pittsburgh CLO debut in The Producers. He is best-known for his work as a member of the band 'N Sync, which has sold more than 56 million records worldwide. In 2007, he finished second on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" and would go on to host "The Singing Bee" on NBC. He has appeared on Broadway in Little Shop of Horrors and Rent, as well as in the films "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and "The Cooler."
