Theater Works Rocks the Holidays With The Musical ROCK TOYZ, 12/3-10
Kids Alive will be performing ROCK TOYZ, a rock and roll musical written by Britishman Greg Snape! Affordable and fun for the whole family! An All Electric, Rock'n'Roll Cinderella. Rock Toyz blends the traditional story of Cinderella with the vibrant dance and energetic music of Contemporary Stage classics like Grease. It's a fun, fantasy tale with attitude about what happens when the Toyz from the attic meet the Ratz from the cellar, with love, leather jackets, cartoon comedy, and 150 metres of ribbon thrown in! In the big house at the top of the hill there's something very strange going on. It's way past bed time and a little girl's toys have come to life, complete with their own rock 'n' roll soundtrack! With music in the style of Bon Jovi and Cyndi Lauper this production has a rockin' 80's feel with songs like "Rock Toyz", The Rats in the Cellar" and "The Slide".
Performance times are December 3rd at 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., December 4th at 1:30 p.m., December 8th at 7 p.m., December 9th at 7 p.m. and December 10th at 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
