Theater Works 30th Season continues with the Youth Works production of The Secret Garden opening Friday, November 6. Winner of multiple Tony Awards, The Secret Garden is a captivating story brought to life with enchanting music and wondrous lyrics, based on the 1911 novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. When Mary Lennox, a young English girl born and raised in the British Raj, is orphaned, she is sent back to England to live with her embittered, reclusive uncle, Archibald and his invalid son, Colin. There she discovers a neglected, magical secret garden. Through her care and love, she brings new life to the garden and to her home.

Chris Hamby, Director of Education and Outreach for Theater Works, who is directing the show says, "The Secret Garden is my favorite musical of all time. It was one of the first pieces of musical theatre I ever saw and I have been entranced by the story, music and writing ever since. It is a production I have waited over 15 years to put on stage and I am beyond thrilled to finally have the opportunity." The Secret Garden reunites the same creative team that brought you last season's award-winning production of, A Year With Frog and Toad.

The Secret Garden will be on stage November 6 - 22, 2015.
