Gypsy is the ultimate showbiz backstage story of a mother who pushes her daughters to become stars only to lead the children into unexpected directions. Based on the memoirs of legendary stripper Gypsy Rose Lee, this classic musical features memorable songs as "Let Me Entertain You", "Everything's Coming Up Rose's" and "Small World". The music is by Jule Styne, with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Arthur Laurents. Gypsy is considered one of the most cherished, complex and popular musicals in the history of theatre.
