TRES GUITARRAS will thrill the audience Friday, August 19th at 7:30pm at Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 N. Arizona Avenue. This concert is part of a free summer concert series for the community and is a perfect evening for the entire family to share.

Jácome Flamenco's Artistic Director, guitarist Chris Jácome (a 3rd generation Arizonan), is an in-demand composer and guitarist who tours nationally and internationally performing his original music and dance productions with his company, Jácome Flamenco. The company has performed to many sold-out theatres and has performed throughout the US, as well as in Spain, Canada, Mexico and Indonesia, including recent engagements at Jazz at Lincoln Center and New York City Center in NYC in January, 2015. Chris' music can be heard on popular TV shows such as Touch, Kyle xyand Greek, the feature films Amreeka, 9/Tenths and the recently released Just the Vampire Hunter, which showcases Chris' compositional and guitar virtuosity in multiple genres. Chris has written and produced five critically-acclaimed CDs. Original songs from Chris' album Levanto won the Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest World Category two years in a row.

TRES GUITARRAS is an extraordinary guitar experience. "We'll take a journey into our artistic journeys as guitarists and musicians," says Jácome. "You'll hear phenomenal music and witness some guitar acrobatics," smiles Jácome, "but really, this concert is about a great night for the family to enjoy together". "With just 6 strings, the guitar can become its own orchestra. You hear soulful blues, hip jazz riffs and exciting flamenco strums, then hear it all fused together!" exclaims Jácome, "This show is a celebration of the guitar and it's an unforgettable concert!"
