Arizona Broadway Theatre To Host Tony-Winning Composer Jason Robert Brown Arizona Broadway Theatre (ABT) announces Tony Award-winning Broadway composer Jason Robert Brown will hold a concert and conversation talk-back on Monday, May 7, at 6pm in the Theatre's newly removed 6,000 sq. ft. Encore Room.

Jason's appearance at ABT will mark the inaugural event in the new space and will coincide with ABT's production of his 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway hit, The Bridges of Madison County, on stage at the Theatre April 13 - May 13, 2018.

The evening will include a performance of selections from Jason's extensive repertoire, performances by members of ABT's cast of The Bridges of Madison County, and a talk-back between the composer and audience, moderated by the host of ABC15's Sonoran Living, Susan Casper. An accomplished pianist, music director, conductor, and lyricist, Jason Robert Brown is known for his rich, lush scores that fuse pop-rock stylings with theatrical lyrics. He is the three-time Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist of Songs for a New World (1995), Parade (1998), The Last Five Years (2002), 13 (2008), The Bridges of Madison County (2013), and Honeymoon in Vegas (2014). Jason's shows are regularly performed on stages across the world, and his songs are regularly heard on television, film and recordings. He has recorded several albums featuring his band The Caucasian Rhythm Kings and is much in demand as a pianist, singer and conductor. Jason lives in New York City with his wife, Georgia Stitt, and his two daughters.
