21st Annual Sedona International Film Festival Director's and Audience Choice Awards Announced
Till Then (Bis Gleich), a 21-minute narrative short film capturing the unspoken connection between two elderly neighbors who share a daily ritual - but never actually met - that deepens when they face the inevitable together, won both the Director's Choice and Audience Choice Awards at the 21st annual Sedona International Film Festival.
The 10-day Festival, dedicated to Orson Welles during the year of his 100th birthday, concluded Sunday night with John Waters' one-man show and retrospective, This Filthy World. Festival winners were announced by Executive Director Patrick Schweiss during Sunday morning's annual Awards Brunch.
Director's Choice honorees included Copenhagen, Best Feature - Drama, and Frank Vs. God, Best Feature - Comedy. Keep on Keepin' On captured the Marion Herrman Excellence in Filmmaking Award, named in honor of the long-time Festival board member who passed away in 2012.
