Bristol Riverside Theatre opens its 2025–26 season with Christopher Durang’s Tony Award-winning comedy Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike, running from September 16 to October 5, 2025. Directed by Ken Kaissar, the play follows middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia as their mundane lives are disrupted by the arrival of their glamorous sister Masha and her youthful boyfriend Spike, sparking a humorous exploration of sibling rivalry and life's unpredictability. The cast features Angela Pierce as Masha, Alan Safier as Vanya, Megan McDermott as Cassandra, Amanda Schoonover as Sonia, Dante Giannetta as Spike, and Cara Rose DiPietro as Nina.
