The Town and Country Players Announce Auditions For 2009 Season of Family Theater Productions

The Town and Country Players in Buckingham announce auditions for the Family Theater Productions of their 2009 Season.

ARTHUR'S STONE, MERLIN'S FIRE: THE MAKING OF A KING, a swashbuckling action-adventure by Kathryn Peterson at the Town and Country Players, 4158 York Rd, Buckingham, PA. Auditions will be held July 25 and 26 from 1 - 6 pm, and call-backs July 27 from 6 - 9pm at the Central Bucks Community Senior Center (700 Shady Retreat Road, Doylestown, PA) for October performances. Director AnnaMarie Hughes needs 7 Women, 11 men, 4 youth, plus water maidens, tree spirits and chess pieces. Looking for dancers with Lyrical dance and Irish step-dance experience to play the roles of the Water Maidens, Tree Spirits and Saxon Chess Pieces. Those auditioning for the dance parts should bring appropriate dance attire and footwear, including hard shoe if you are a step-dancer. JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, the musical by Andrew Lloyd Weber, with director and music director C. Jameson Bradley and Joe Nappi at the Town and Country Players, 4158 York Rd, Buckingham, PA. Auditions will be held on August 2 from 2 - 5pm, August 3 from 7 - 9pm, and call-backs August 10, from 7 to 9pm at the Central Bucks Community Senior Center (700 Shady Retreat Road, Doylestown, PA) for November performances. Prepare 16 bars of an appropriate song and be prepared to dance. Will be casting up to 35 characters; all parts are open.
