It's a comedy; it's a farce; it's a murder mystery; it's a musical! Think "Weekend at Bernie's" meets "Noises Off." "Lucky Stiff" is full of zany characters and wacky situations. The show is filled with brilliant one-liners and witty lyrics, and is a guaranteed good time for all.

The Centre Theater presents LUCKY STIFF, a hilarious musical comedy by Flaherty and Ahrens, June 1st through June 24th, in the fourth floor theater of the Montgomery County Cultural Center, 208 DeKalb Street in Norristown. Evening performances are on Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. Matinees on Sundays at 2 p.m.

Based on the Michael Butterworth novel, The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo, the intricate plot follows nerdy English shoe salesman Harry Witherspoon as he tries to win his multimillion dollar inheritance by taking his dead uncle's corpse to Monte Carlo for a final, fun-filled vacation. What follows are guns, girls, mistaken identities, glittering diamonds and an evening of inspired musical theatre lunacy. Written by the duo who brought the amazing modern musicals Once on this Island and Ragtime to Broadway, Lucky Stiff is a hidden gem.

The production's creative team includes director Marusia Griffin Lynn and musical director Eleanor Griffin and features KrisSy Johnson, Stephen Tornetta, Dorien Belle, Stephen Innis, Katie Romano, Victor Rodrigues, Jim Conte, Josh Samors, Christina Forshay, Val Cucinotta and Sharon Eyester.
