Internationally Renowned Singer Barb Jungr And Grammy & Emmy Award Winner John McDaniel Return To The RRazz Room in August Internationally renowned singer Barb Jungr and Grammy & Emmy award winner John McDaniel are together again with their newest collaboration: Float Like A Butterfly - The Sting Songbook. This collection has audiences and critics glowing. The pair continue to have worldwide success with live concerts and the CD of their Beatles collection, Come Together, available worldwide. This new show features some of Sting's best known and also lesser known songs, with Jungr as always bringing new meaning to classics "Fields of Gold", "Message in a Bottle" & "Englishman in New York", with McDaniel's nonpareil musicality, harmonies and her radiant humor.

Barb Jungr is known for her extraordinary performances and interpretations of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Jacques Brel. Her numerous Linn Records releases have received rave 4 and 5 star reviews on both sides of the Atlantic, Australia and Europe. "It's as if Edith Piaf and Nick Cave had a love-child, who was adopted by Carmen McRae" said Glam Adelaide. She's ""One of the world's great cabaret singers" Time Out New York and she ""Brings the same creativity for reinterpretation and re-examination that Ella Fitzgerald brought to Cole Porter." said The Wall Street Journal.

John is a pianist, singer, arranger and partner in banter. He doesn't even need to bother employing his vast experience as a conductor, a composer and a Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award-winning producer of theatre, albums and television. He has worked on Broadway as a conductor, musical director, and musical/vocal arranger. He has accompanied stars including Betty Buckley, Tyne Daly, Brooke Shields and Patti LuPone, whose 1995 one-woman show he arranged and conducted. He also spent seven years in living rooms across America as the Musical Director and bandleader on The Rosie O'Donnell Show.

In their shows together, Barb and John collide British cabaret nous with American musical theatre chutzpah and two phenomenal songbooks, to generate an embarrassment of talent and expertise. These are unique events, so be sure to catch them now. They're both busy people living on either side of the Atlantic, and really can't be expected to wait around for you to pull your finger out and get a babysitter sorted.
