The Drama Group's spring show is "Pack of Lies" by Hugh Whitemore, directed by Noël Hanley. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings, March 17 to April 1, at 8:00, in Pilling Hall at The First United Methodist Church of Germantown, 6001 Germantown Avenue, between High Street and Walnut Lane.

How well do you know your neighbors? What if your government asked to use your home as a surveillance post to spy on the people living across the street, who were suspected of espionage? Would you believe the government officials? Would you betray your friends? Based on an actual Cold War incident, the events depicted in the play are as contemporary as today's headlines. So, who can you trust? And when does a lie become justified?

The cast of "Pack of Lies" includes Donna Bencivengo, Tom Boland, Claire Golden Drake, Don Gimpel, Andrew Maksymowych, Donna McFadden, Lilia Mitchell and Janet Wasser.

Tickets for "Pack of Lies" are $15.00 ($10.00 for students with ID, Drama Group Members and Subscribers) and can be purchased at the door. On opening night, Friday, March 17, every ticket purchased will admit two people. There will be a post-show discussion following the performance on Friday, March 24.

The Drama Group has been presenting theatre in the Germantown community of Northwest Philadelphia since 1980. For more information about "Pack of Lies" and The Drama Group, go to www.thedramagroup.org or "like" The Drama Group on Facebook.
