GRIMM'S JUNIPER TREE Premieres in Philadelphia Today

Grimm's Juniper Tree by James Stover, based on the stories of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, will be directed by M. Craig Getting when it runs today, January 29th-February 8th, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church, 201 S. 21st Street, Philadelphia, Pa.

A boy punished by his wicked stepmother, a princess fleeing her wrathful husband, an imp spinning straw for a miller and his daughter: these characters and more await Hans and Greta as they wander the woods in search of a new home. Grimm's Juniper Tree examines the magic of choice in a black-and-white world of Good and Evil. The production will feature a custom sensory collaboration with the Random Tea Room incorporated into the story.
