East Passyunk Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday Expands with Food, Drink, Family Fun, Entertainment

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) presents a day of spooktacular fun with Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday on Saturday, October 26, 2013, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. This annual Halloween celebration will feature free activities for children, adults and even fido too! Spooky Saturday activities include cider and donuts, pumpkin painting, costume contests for children and dogs, pet treats, art lessons and a kids' dance party. Trick or treating will expand this year to include the blocks between the Singing Fountain and the Mifflin Triangle. Free treat bags will be available at the Singing Fountain for the first 500 children courtesy of Aversa PR & Events. Fall Fest activities will include a craft show curated by Nice Things..Handmade, three live bands, pumpkins and fall foliage at Urban Jungle, a raffle from Philadelphia Scooters, and adoptables from Operation Ava, PAWS and Pig Placement Network. Food and drink will be provided by Ms. Goody Cupcake, The Tot Cart, Stateside, El Zarape, Mamma Maria Ristorante, Stogie Joe's, Noord, Fond and Belle Cakery. In the event of rain, select family activities will move in front of Urban Jungle, and the concert and craft show will be cancelled. Most activities will be held at the Singing Fountain (EPA and Tasker), with select activities to be held at Mifflin Triangle (EPA and Mifflin). * Spooky chalk drawing (1:30pm to 3:30pm) Food and drinks from mobile vendors and restaurants are pay-as-you-go. Other activities, tricks or treats, and cider and donuts are free unless otherwise noted. In the event of rain, Fall Festival music and craft show will be cancelled. Spooky Saturday's costume contest and trick or treating will move in front of Urban Jungle (1526 EPA).
