CSz Philadelphia, the Home of ComedySportz is proud to present the return of DR. YOUNG UNPACKS, a playful, high energy, informative talk show that dives deep into the psychology of media, politics, and popular culture, featuring award-winning Professor Danna Young - Associate Professor at the University of Delaware. DR. YOUNG UNPACKS runs Sunday April 15, 22 and 29 at 7PM. Tickets are $15 ($10 for students).

"Danna's shows in February were very funny and very educational" says CSz Philadelphia's Executive Director Don Montrey, "she broke down the complexity of the world and made it entertaining. One example was her explanation of the twisting path that connects the Cuban Missile Crisis to Al Gore to the #MeToo movement. The audience loved it."

Dr. Young's work has been published in The Atlantic, The New York Times, the Columbia Journalism Review and The Philadelphia Inquirer. She is the author of over 2 dozen peer-reviewed research articles and 20 book chapters. She is also an 18-year member of ComedySportz.

Each week, Dr. Young unpacks a new topic, such as "Why Comedians Are Communists And Conservatives Hate Picasso;" and "How News Serves (Or F*cking Destroys) Democracy."

Each one-hour show features an expert guest from academia and media talking about their own research on media and politics.

"We live in complicated times. People want to understand what's going on around them, without getting overwhelmed or freaked out." says Dr. Young, "I'm an optimist. I believe that once you unpack a topic and help people understand how things work and why, they can start making the world better. "

Tickets for DR. YOUNG UNPACKS are $15 (or $10 with a valid student ID) and can be purchased online at csztix.com or by calling 484-450-8089. The show is designed for audiences ages 15 and up.

For more information, please call Don Montrey at 267-255-9541.
