The Centre Theater is proud to bring another year (16 years of continuous work starting this fall) of theatre to Norristown and the greater Philadelphia region. This year we have some very exciting productions planned. A season subscription is just $55 for all three main stage productions. We have multiple special events and secondary productions planned as well.

In November, in collaboration with The Centre Theater, Iron Age will produce the World Premiere of Mulomby's Million by DW Gregory, author of Radium Girls. Boxing champ Jack Dempsey is in a pickle - he wants a fight, but crooked promoters, conniving reporters, shady dames and his own comical attempts at acting derail him in the world premier of "Molumby's Millions," a hard punching comedy about the seedy world of the fight game and one honest man trying to make a million bucks.(November 5-28)

In March, Iron Age will produce in collaboration with The Centre Theater The Emperor Jones by Eugene O'Neill staring Kash Goins, John Henry in The Life of John Henry and director of GOKASH productions, as Jones. "The Emperor Jones," an epic theatrical tragedy about a lowly train porter who becomes dictator of a third world island. Eugene O'Neill's classic drama twists deep into the psychology of Brutus Jones and the demons of race, imperialism, greed, colonialism, and terror.(March 4-26)

In June The Sound of Music by Rogers and Hammerstein will be brought to the stage at the Centre Theater. One of the most beloved musicals of all time, The Sound of Music follows the story of Maria, a misfit nun and governess to the Von Trapp family, as she teaches the seven children and their father how to warm their household with compassion and song. Maria wins the love of the entire family, especially their father, but everything they have built may be destroyed as Nazis invade their native Austria.

Be sure to get your season subscriptions so you don't miss a single show. For only $55, you can get a ticket to all three productions as well as special discounts on our special events.
The performances will take place at The Centre Theater at 208 DeKalb Street, Norristown, PA in our 4th floor theatre. To purchase tickets please call 610-279-1013 or online at https:// centretheaterculturalcenter.ticketleap.com
