CLICK CLACK MOO Closes 2010-2011 WST For Kids Series June 4
By: Gabrielle Sierra
CLICK, CLACK, MOO brings the lessons of friendship and sharing to the Walnut Street Theatre's stage as part of the WST for Kids Series. This hilarious and "moo-ving" new musical takes place Saturday, June 4 at 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
CLICK, CLACK, MOO is a new musical based on the Caldecott Award-winning book by Doreen Cronin with illustrations by Betsy Lewin. This kids' musical is "utterly" delightful and entertaining. With fun songs and lively choreography, CLICK, CLACK, MOO teaches the importance of friendship and compromise. Farmer Brown has an extraordinary problem: his cows like to type. He discovers this fact after taking away his granddaughter Jenny's laptop computer. Soon, the cows begin using the computer to write him letters demanding blankets for the animals in the cold barn. When Farmer Brown dismisses the complaints as ridiculous, the cows soon strike. The chickens join them in solidarity. Will Farmer Brown compromise? What will happen if he doesn't?
