Brandywiners Partner with Top Area Restaurants for HELLO, DOLLY!, 7/26-8/4
The Brandywiners Ltd. and ten of the top restaurants around Longwood Gardens have created a special treat for people going to see Hello, Dolly! Each restaurant has created their own unique pre-theater dinner ranging from champagne toasts to free desserts to special fixed-price menus.
Participating are a who’s who of the best restaurants in Pennsylvania along the Route 1 corridor from Concord Pike to Kennett Square; Bistro on the Brandywine, Bite of Italy, Brandywine Prime Seafood and Chops, Chadds Ford Restaurant and Pub, Kennett Square Inn, La Verona, Longwood Family Restaurant, Portabello’s, Sovana and The Gables at Chadds Ford.
“We wanted to help create a total experience for our audience so it’s not just about going to see a musical, its about having a great night out”, said Jim Shanahan of The Brandywiners.
Dan Butler, whose two Chadds Ford restaurants, Brandywine Prime and Bistro on the Brandywine are participating, says, “We have created a delicious three-course fixed price menu that our customers can sit back and enjoy knowing they will get to their seats on time”

The Brandywiners are one of the oldest community theater organizations in the country. Founded in 1932, they have played to over a half a million people and have given over $600,000 in grants to organizations throughout the Delaware Valley for the growth and promotion of the performing arts. Hello, Dolly is their 80th anniversary production.
