Hale Centre Theatre presents the Tony-winning musical HAIRSPRAY, now playing through Aug 24th 2013 on Thursdays at 7:00PM, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, and Saturday afternoons at 3PM. The hilariously charming hit musical Forever Plaid will take you on a trip to the fifties with Sparky, Jinx, Smudge and Frankie, a fictional 1950's boy band. The group was tragically, and inconveniently struck down before their first big gig. 'The Plaids' will be brought back to earth to take the stage one last time. 4th Wall Theatre, a non-union professional theatre in Bloomfield, now in its 14th season, presents a concert production of the legendary Broadway musical FUNNY GIRL. With music by Jule Styne (GYPSY, BELLS ARE RINGING), lyrics by Bob Merrill (CARNIVAL!) and a book by Isobel Lennart, FUNNY GIRL is a classic Broadway crowd-pleaser.
