Woody Sez: The Life and Music of Woody Guthrie, a summer '17 off-Broadway hit, is currently playing a limited engagement at Westport Country Playhouse, January 9 - 20. The joyful, touching, and tumultuous tale of 'America's greatest folk poet' is told using Guthrie's own words and over two dozen of his indelible songs, including 'This Land Is Your Land,' 'Union Maid,' 'Deportees,' and 'This Train Is Bound for Glory.'

Patrick Rains presents the critically acclaimed New York premiere of My Mother Has 4 Noses, a musical play written and performed by renowned singer/songwriter Jonatha Brooke and directed by Jeremy B. Cohen. My Mother Has 4 Noses began previews Off-Broadway on February 14th and opened on Thursday, February 20, 2014. The limited engagement will play through Sunday, May 4th at The Duke on 42nd Street, 'a New 42nd Street project' (located at 229 W 42nd Street, between 7th & 8th Avenues). Theatricum Botanicum's 2012 Summer Repertory Season will present four plays in repertory on its mainstage: Measure for Measure and A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare; Heartbreak House by George Bernard Shaw; and The Women of Lockerbie by Deborah Brevoort. In addition, Cherry Docs by David Gow will get six performances in Theatricum's intimate second performance space.

A.R.T. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) opens its 2011-12 season with The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, by George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, and Ira Gershwin. The adaptation by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks and Obie Award-winning composer Diedre L. Murray, directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus, with choreography by Ronald K. Brown, begins previews on August 17 and opens for the reviewing press on August 31 at 7pm. Performances are at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge. Tickets for preview performances are currently on sale, remaining tickets for the run go on sale on July 12. Yesterday evening, Clement took the stage of the Nederlander Theatre to join the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET in the special encore. Cowboy Jack Clement is a legendary songwriter and record producer. On the date of the 1956 Million Dollar Quartet sessions at Sun Records, Jack was the engineer. Without Cowboy Jack, Presley, Cash, Lewis & Perkin's impromptu recording session would never have been documented on tape. Cowboy Jack has worked with such legends as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Ray Charles, Carl Perkins, Bobby Bare, Elvis Presley, Jim Reeves, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cliff Richard, Charley Pride, Tom Jones, Dickey Lee, Hank Snow, and Waylon Jennings.
