The legendary Barbra Streisand was honored by the Recording Academy as the MusiCares Person of the Year on February 11 at a dinner and concert. The concert featured performances by Kristin Chenoweth, Tony Bennett,Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Barry Manilow, Diana Krall, and more. Also appearing were GLEE Cast members Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Darren Criss.

Minutes prior to the start of the Olympic games in Vancouver on Friday, February 12, NBC aired an abbreviated version of 'We Are the World 25 for Haiti', a recording to benefit the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
