Following last year's hit debut season, BroadwayWorld is excited to bring you a brand new season of Turning the Tables! 25 years after the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical production of Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic children's story The Secret Garden, the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) and the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle co-presents the timeless tale from November 15-December 31 at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW). It's a happy day for the Jacobs family! Brother and sister Adam and Arielle Jacobs just surprised their parents with the news that Arielle will be playing Princess Jasmine in the Australian production of Aladdin opening in Sydney this August. Adam, who stars as the title character on Broadway, helped out with an adorable video to reveal the news to their parents, and you can check it out below!

Dallas Theater Center presents the world premiere of CLARKSTON this winter. Written by 2014 MacArthur Foundation Fellow Samuel D. The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) welcomes Australian actor Anthony Warlow in the role of 'Don Quixote' in the company's production of Man of La Mancha, under the direction of STC Associate Artistic Director Alan Paul. Huntington Theatre Company kicks off 2014 with David Ives' sexy Broadway smash hit Venus in Fur, deemed '90 minutes of good, kinky fun,' by The New York Times. Daniel Goldstein (God of Carnage) returns to the Huntington to the direct the 2012 Tony Award nominee for Best Play. Performances will begin on January 3 at the Avenue of the Arts / BU Theatre. Chicago Shakespeare Theater presents Cyrano de Bergerac, launching the Theater's 2013-2014 Season. CST's new production of Edmond Rostand's timeless classic, adapted and translated by Anthony Burgess, marks the return to CST of director Penny Metropulos and film and stage actor Harry Groener, the duo behind the Theater's award-winning 2011 production of The Madness of George III. Featuring some of the most romantic and witty verse written for the stage, Cyrano de Bergerac is a poignant and entertaining homage to poetry, love and panache which will run in CST's Courtyard Theater now through November 10, 2013. On Thursday, October 11, National Theatre Live will broadcast a live performance of The Last of the Haussmans, a new play by Stephen Beresford and directed by Howard Davies. The broadcasts will be shown at cinemas throughout North America with many encore dates available. National Theatre Live's fourth season continues with The Last of the Haussmans, directed by Howard Davies. Steven Beresford's acclaimed new play is a funny, touching and sometimes savage portrait of a family that's losing its grip. The cast includes includes Julie Walters, Rory Kinnear and Helen McCrory. The darkly comic drama is completely sold out at the National Theatre.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company, recipient of the 2012 Regional Theatre Tony Award®, presents the return of Black Watch, the critically acclaimed production depicting war from the perspectives of soldiers in Iraq. After a sold-out run at Sidney Harman Hall in 2011, this world-renowned piece from The National Theatre of Scotland makes landfall with STC before continuing on its U.S. tour. Tonight may be the big night but last evening, June 9, The Tony Awards Administration Committee hosted the annual Tony Eve Cocktail Party Tony at the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts to celebrate this year's Special Tony Award winners. The Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre were established in 1990 and are awarded annually to institutions, individuals and/or organizations that have demonstrated extraordinary achievement in theatre, but are not eligible in any of the established Tony Award categories. This year's Tony Honors were presented to: Freddie Gershon, CEO and Chairman of Musica Theatre International, Artie Siccardi, Production Supervisor of Arthur Siccardi Theatrical Services, Inc. who has overseen more than 200 Broadway productions, and TDF Open Doors, Theatre Development Fund's arts education program.
