Beginning November 18, the Royal Shakespeare Company's acclaimed production of Shakespeare's Henry V will play in select movie houses across North America. The production, which opened to rave reviews at the RSC's home in Stratford-upon-Avon, was filmed for 'Live from Stratford-upon-Avon,' the RSC program that screens the world's greatest classical theatre company from Shakespeare's home town around the world through a continued partnership with Picturehouse Entertainment. On last night's CONAN on TBS, composer Tim Minchin and the cast of MATILDA THE MUSICAL performed the number 'When I Grow Up'.

?THE AUDIENCE's Richard McCabe just accepted the 2015 Tony Award for Featured Actor in a Play for his role as Prime Minister Harold Wilson. He re-joined THE AUDIENCE after the London production for which he won an Olivier Award for best supporting actor. Award-winning actor Stephen Wight takes on the title role of Lee McQueen and Dianna Agron will play Dahlia in the world premiere of James Phillips's play McQUEEN directed by John Caird, which will run at St. James Theatre from 12 May to 27 June, with press nights on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 May.  The play will also star Tracy-Ann Oberman as Isabella Blow, Laura Rees as Arabella, and David Shaw-Parker as John Hitchcock, along with Sophie Apollonia, Amber Doyle, George Hill, Eloise Hymas, Jordan Kennedy, Rachel Louisa Maybank, James Revell and Carrie Willis.  Check out behind the scenes interviews and more!

Today in 1982, Macbeth opened at the Circle in the Square Theatre, where it ran for 21 performances. Written by William Shakespeare, Macbeth is about a regicide and its aftermath. It is Shakespeare's shortest tragedy and is believed to have been written sometime between 1603 and 1607. The earliest account of a performance of what was probably Shakespeare's play is April 1611, when Simon Forman recorded seeing such a play at the Globe Theatre.

As Britain prepares to go to the polls, Lara McDonnell, Anna-Louise Knight, Matilda Shapland and Violet Tucker discuss what they would do if they were Prime Minister. The four girls share the title role in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical which is now booking through to 29 May 2016.

Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2, which explores the deceit, betrayal, and intrigue of the court of Henry VIII, is written by Dame Hilary Manteland adapted by Mike Poulton. This special event invites theatergoers to be part of a unique theatrical experience, similar to the Royal Shakespeare Company's award winning production of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby.
