On last night's CONAN on TBS, composer Tim Minchin and the cast of MATILDA THE MUSICAL performed the number 'When I Grow Up'.

?THE AUDIENCE's Richard McCabe just accepted the 2015 Tony Award for Featured Actor in a Play for his role as Prime Minister Harold Wilson. He re-joined THE AUDIENCE after the London production for which he won an Olivier Award for best supporting actor. Award-winning actor Stephen Wight takes on the title role of Lee McQueen and Dianna Agron will play Dahlia in the world premiere of James Phillips's play McQUEEN directed by John Caird, which will run at St. James Theatre from 12 May to 27 June, with press nights on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 May.  The play will also star Tracy-Ann Oberman as Isabella Blow, Laura Rees as Arabella, and David Shaw-Parker as John Hitchcock, along with Sophie Apollonia, Amber Doyle, George Hill, Eloise Hymas, Jordan Kennedy, Rachel Louisa Maybank, James Revell and Carrie Willis.  Check out behind the scenes interviews and more!

Today in 1982, Macbeth opened at the Circle in the Square Theatre, where it ran for 21 performances. Written by William Shakespeare, Macbeth is about a regicide and its aftermath. It is Shakespeare's shortest tragedy and is believed to have been written sometime between 1603 and 1607. The earliest account of a performance of what was probably Shakespeare's play is April 1611, when Simon Forman recorded seeing such a play at the Globe Theatre.

As Britain prepares to go to the polls, Lara McDonnell, Anna-Louise Knight, Matilda Shapland and Violet Tucker discuss what they would do if they were Prime Minister. The four girls share the title role in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical which is now booking through to 29 May 2016.

The Broadway transfer of The Royal Shakespeare Company's Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 began previews on March 20, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, and opened Thursday night, April 9, 2015. Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2, which explores the deceit, betrayal, and intrigue of the court of Henry VIII, is written by Dame Hilary Manteland adapted by Mike Poulton. This special event invites theatergoers to be part of a unique theatrical experience, similar to the Royal Shakespeare Company's award winning production of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. As the hit West End show Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, directed by Sam Mendes, approaches its second anniversary, producers today announced the cast that will take it into its third year. Alongside Jonathan Slinger as Willy Wonka will be Kraig Thornber (Grandpa George), Lara Denning (Mrs Bucket) and Mark Oxtoby (Jerry), among other new names. Originating company members Ross Dawes and Derek Hagen will take over the roles of Mr Salt and Mr Bucket respectively.
