TWILIGHT IN MANCHEGO maps the story of Esau Munsey, who leaves a haunted past in the city to teach fourth grade in a provincial elementary school. But his intentions to provoke change in an outdated education system distract him from the students he really wants to inspire. When Esau's history repeats itself and the small town of Manchego is struck by tragedy, Esau must finally put to rest the ghosts of his past and make peace with himself and his choices.

A four-piece rock band and fluid, modern dance choreography round out a dark, tuneful score. SOPHIA'S FALL is an official selection of the 2008 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

IDAHO! is a tale of love and sex on the prairie baked to bawdy perfection and set during the 'Golden era' of Broadway.

The new intergalactic musical comedy, 'I Come For Love,' is an original new musical with book, music and lyrics co-authored by Terrence Atkins and Jeffery Lyle Segal, who are co-producing this production at NYMF. Actor, director and film maker Michael Berry directs and is choreographer.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) celebrates its fifth year with 24 full productions, a dance series, a developmental series, concerts and special events. This year's Festival will begin September 15th and continue through October 5th. BWW TV brings you a small preview of some of the musicals that will be featured during the highly acclaimed festival. They were presented as part of the NYMF press day preview that took place Monday September 8th at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center.

Born (out of wedlock) from the golden age of musical comedy come a new story...a twisted tale of wife stealin', spud peelin' and double dealin'at a time when men were men and Aunt Pearlie carried the shotgun. In this segment of IDAHO's Road to NYMF we meet some of the people behind the scenes and join six of our cast members, Rob Sutton, Elena Shaddow, Stacey Todd Holt, Beth Curry, Jennifer Perry and Blake Hammond on a photo shoot at the Queens County Farm.
