Since bursting onto Broadway in March, Newsies set and then broke five Nederlander Theatre house records on its way to becoming the best selling new musical of the spring. The show received 23 major theatrical nominations -- including eight Tony Award nods -- and won Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Score and Choreography. For the third time this year, cast members from the breakout American musical Newsies will chat with fans live on YouTube. This Saturday, August 18th at 6:00PM EST, Newsies' Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Ryan Steele, Garett Hawe and Laurie Veldheer will be on hand to talk about the show.

Producers Kevin McCollum (Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights, The Drowsy Chaperone), Doug Morris (Chairman and CEO of SONY Music Entertainment) and Berry Gordy will present MOTOWN The Musical, based on the life of iconic Motown founder Berry Gordy, will open in the Spring of 2013 on Broadway at a Nederlander Theatre to be announced. Music legend Berry Gordy is looking for a super-talented African-American young man (age 8-11) to play the multiple roles of young MICHAEL JACKSON, little STEVIE WONDER and pre-teen BERRY GORDY in MOTOWN The Musical, coming to Broadway in 2013.

Constantine Maroulis and R&B superstar Deborah Cox, who will co-star in the upcoming Broadway revival of JEKYLL & HYDE, recently took part in a photo shoot for the new production. In the video below, go inside the sexy event with the the future co-stars!

On June 25, the stars of the upcoming revival of Jekyll & Hyde, Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages) and Grammy Award Nominee Deborah Cox (Aida), hosted the 4th annual National High School Musical Theater Awards at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre. The show featured 60 of America's most talented young musical theater performers vying for the "Jimmy Award" for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor. This year, Elizabeth Romero, Joshua Grosso were crowned the night's big winners. Each received $10,000 scholarship awards for their efforts. Runners up, who each recieved $2,500 in scholarships, were Evan Greenberg, Drew Shafranek, Nicolette Burton, and Erica Durham. BroadwayWorld's Randy Rainbow popped by the event and wandered onto the red carpet where he ran into Maroulis, Cox, Frank Wildhorn. As BroadwayWorld reported earlier today, a news conference has been called for this Monday, June 18 in which Mike Tyson and Spike Lee will make a 'special announcement.' The duo will be joined by Broadway producer and theater owner James L. Nederlander. The announcement is expected to involve the Lee-directed Mike Tyson: UNDISPUTED TRUTH, which is rumored to be heading to Broadway. Check out highlights from the show's Vegas run below!
