We did it. We survived another holiday season and we're smack dab in the reality of 2017. That means a lot of things, but it also means that Broadway Sessions is BACK! And what better way to hit the ground running than with the cast of Great Comet! Enjoy performances by Denee Benton, Mary Page Nance, Nick Choksi, Blaine Krauss, Lauren Zakrin, Billy Kiessling, Heath Saunders, Andrew Mayer, Pearl Rhein, Brad Giovanine. We even got to know the cast better through trivia, games and even a live action stage combat demonstration.  Plus our "Rising Stars" Constantine Pappas and Claire Saunders.

Earlier this week, the cast of Broadway's ROCK OF AGES reunited at Highline Ballroom for DON'T BREAK UP THE BAND.  Presented by Showmance Productions, the evening featured ROCK OF AGES Broadway cast members from opening night to closing night, as well as band members from the show's fictional rock band, Arsenal. Directed by Matthew DiCarlo and with music direction by Henry Aronson, The concert included songs from bands like REO Speedwagon, STYX, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and more! The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus, presents Dave Malloy's musical adaptation of an excerpt from Leo Tolstoy's monumental novelWar and Peace, directed by Rachel Chavkin, with choreography by Sam Pinkleton. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the five-time Tony Award-nominated Rock of Ages announced today that 'Big Brother' star Frankie J. Grande will return to Broadway in the smash-hit musical beginning November 10, 2014. Grande will star in the role of 'Franz' - the free-spirited son of German developer Hertz Klineman, who threatens to tear down the Sunset Strip - through January 18, 2015. The much-loved, musical web series 'The Battery's Down' will present its series finale on December 1st, 2009. Stage and 'Battery's' star Andrew Keenan-Bolger looks back on some of his favorite memories and reminds everyone to tune in to the final episode in this video blog which you can watch right here on STAGE TUBE!

Directed and choreographed by Connor Gallagher (Fat Camp), 'The Battery's Down' stars Jake Wilson as a young performer who, along with his friends, navigates the world of showbiz in New York City and Los Angeles. Series regulars include Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Mary Poppins, Spelling Bee), Dani Spieler (Legally Blonde), Nina Sturtz (Vote! The Musical) and Cortney Wolfson (Legally Blonde, Les Miserables).

The Pantages Theater went to the dogs on Friday, as the canine stars of LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL walked the red carpet on opening night at Los Angeles' Pantages Theater.
