North Carolina Theatre announces the summer production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins. Leading the cast in her North Carolina Theatre debut is Broadway sensation Kara Lindsay as everyone's favorite nanny, 'Mary Poppins' alongside Nicolas Dromard. NC native Eric Woodall is set to direct with choreography by Ryan Kasprzak. NC Theatre's production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins will play July 26-31, 2016 at Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh.  BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

After four previously sold out shows, Broadway's Cinderella, Tony nominee Laura Osnes and music director Benjamin Rauhala returned to host The Broadway Princess Party at Feinstein's/54 Below. The all-star cast sang the most beloved 'Princess' songs of stage and screen in a magical evening. Where else might a little mermaid duet with a beautiful bookworm? Or might an ice queen drink tea with a princess who keeps only dwarves for company? Might the princess with a lost glass slipper confide in a princess who lives in a tower, with the longest of hair? On August 24, 2014, NEWISES closed on Broadway. Exactly one year later, cast members from the hit Broadway musical came together on the stage of 54 Below to reminisce. In the lineup were songs of various music styles, stories and memories of their time with the show. Below, watch as Andrew Keenan-Bolger, the original Crutchie, performs 'Letter from the Refuge'- a song that wasn't added to the show until the launch of the national tour.

Broadway in Bryan Park kicked off its 2015 program yesterday - and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the first day. This week's line-up included performances from the casts of STOMP, FUERZA BRUTA, IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU, WICKED and the help of Penn and Teller. Below, watch as Kara Lindsay, Matt Shingledecker and Caroline Bowman belt out the classic tunes of WICKED, including: 'Popular,' 'As Long As You're Mine,' and 'The Wizard and I.'

After a sold-out run at the Canal Room, 'The TRL Generation' brought its wildly successful 'Broadway Loves the Spice Girls' concert uptown to 54 Below on January 13th. The 'Girl Power'-filled song and dance extravaganza was musically directed by Benjamin Rauhala, directed by Kyle Fox, and produced by Shoshana Feinstein. Two years ago, on September 15, 2011, Newsies, the hit Tony Award-winning 'critics' pick,' played its first performance at Paper Mill Playhouse. Ever since that very first night, Newsies fans, self-proclaimed 'fansies,' have been a cause for celebration, helping to propel the show from a limited regional theatre run to a limited Broadway engagement and then to extend into a record-breaking open-ended run. In honor of those dedicated fans, the show will celebrate 'NewsiesFan Week' September 15 - 21. Check out the cast's announcement video below!
